Captain America Overview

Captain America is a Marvel collab blade built on the Dran Sword mold, with the shield motif worked into a very similar three-sided smash shape and weight. It is an honest starter-level attacker in a collector's package, fun to launch but outclassed by modern attack blades.

Strengths

  • + Proven Dran Sword shape gives real smash and upper attack
  • + Simple, forgiving attack gameplan for newer players
  • + Average weight, so it does not feel like a shelf toy
  • + Its stock Gear Ball bit is a handy balance part

Weaknesses

  • No performance gain over a normal Dran Sword
  • Poor stamina, must win early or lose the grind
  • Stock 4-70 height is taller than an attacker wants

Drop Captain America from its stock 4-70GB onto a low attack setup like 3-60F or 3-60LF and launch it hard for early knockouts, exactly as you would play Dran Sword. Its recoil-heavy shape means committing to attack; do not try to outlast anyone. In a 3v3 deck it is a casual or themed attacker slot, and competitively you would run Dran Buster or Tyranno Beat instead.
