Eva Overview
Eva is the CX lockchip from the Evangelion Deck Set collaboration, scheduled for late August 2026. As of now it is essentially unreleased, but it is expected to be a standard plastic chip that functions identically to the other regular lockchips.
Strengths
- + Expected full compatibility with every CX main and assist blade
- + A collaboration piece with obvious collector appeal
- + Standard construction should mean no performance quirks
Weaknesses
- − Not yet released, so weight and details are unconfirmed
- − No competitive advantage expected over any other standard chip
- − Likely to be pricey on the aftermarket as collab merchandise
Treat Eva as a collector's chip first. Once released it should top any CX combo exactly like a standard lockchip. Buy the deck set for the crossover, not for a performance edge.
