Grogu Overview
Grogu is a Star Wars collab blade on the Rhino Horn mold, but at 33.5 grams it is the heaviest of the Rhino Horn family, which papers over some of that shape's problems. It is still a collector-first blade, and much of its practical value is the tilting Elevate bit it ships with.
Strengths
- + Good weight for a collab blade at 33.5 grams
- + Extra mass makes it steadier than other Rhino Horn versions
- + Ships with the Elevate bit, a genuinely interesting tilting part
- + Inarguably the most charming gear chip in the line
Weaknesses
- − The horn still creates wobble and recoil
- − Tall stock 3-85 ratchet raises burst risk
- − Collector demand makes it expensive for its performance
Drop Grogu from its stock 3-85E to a lower, safer setup like 4-60B or 4-60N and let its weight do the defensive work with a flat, level launch. Keep the Elevate bit for experimenting with tilting spin-drain builds on heavier blades like Cobalt Dragoon. In a 3v3 deck Grogu is a fun themed defensive pick and a parts source rather than a competitive choice.
