3-85 Overview
3-85 is a simple-type ratchet with three small protrusions at the 85 height, the tallest in the game, yet it weighs only 4.7 grams. It uses the snap-on O-type joint instead of a normal lock, which makes it light but inconsistent.
Strengths
- + Tallest height available, for maximum upper-attack and over-the-top angles

- + One of the few ratchets compatible with simple-type-only blades like ClockMirage
Weaknesses
- − Very light at 4.7 grams, so it strips weight out of any combo
- − The extreme height makes it unstable and easy to strike from below
- − Community testing found its burst behavior inconsistent, and it is widely seen as a collection piece rather than a competitive part
3-85 is a novelty height specialist. It only really earns a slot on blades that require simple-type ratchets, or in experimental upper-attack builds trying to lever opponents from above. For serious decks, take 9-80 or 5-80 when you want tall and take 9-65 when you need a simple-type joint.
