Croc Overview
Croc is the CX lockchip from Hasbro's Tread Croc TQ 5-50GN Infinity Starter Pack. Weight data is not widely published, but it is a standard plastic chip that functions identically to the other regular lockchips.
Strengths
- + Works with every CX main and assist blade
- + Standard construction, so no performance penalty
- + One of the easier chips for Hasbro-market players to buy at retail
Weaknesses
- − No competitive difference from any other standard lockchip
- − Currently tied to a single Hasbro release, so documentation on it is thin
Croc is interchangeable with any standard chip on CX builds and naturally caps rebuilds of the low-slung Tread Croc defense setup. Use whichever chip you own; the lock system does not care.
