Fort Overview
Fort is a four-sided CX balance main blade from Fort Hornet (Takara Tomy: HornetFort), and it is a retool of Reaper with the same metal but new plastic. Its four blades aim to destabilize opponents with continuous strikes, and early on it reads as a solid but unspectacular all-rounder.
Strengths
- + Four contact points land steady, continuous hits
- + Reaper-style shape balances attack, defense, and stamina
- + Stock pairing with Round and Taper is easy to control
- + Newer retool, so fresh copies are easy to find
Weaknesses
- − Very new, with little tournament data to back it up
- − Inherits Reaper's problem of being outclassed by specialists
- − Only average stamina for long grinds
Treat Fort like a slightly different-flavored Reaper: run Round or Charge underneath with a low 60-height ratchet and a balance bit like Taper or Kick, and use its continuous strikes to destabilize defense and stamina combos. Lean more aggressive with Slash if you want a budget attacker. Until more results come in, slot it in a 3v3 deck as a flexible CX balance piece, not a centerpiece.
