Emperor Overview

Emperor is a metal lockchip: a plastic base with a metal cap that brings it to 4.7 grams, about 3 grams heavier and slightly taller than a regular chip. It debuted in the EmperorMight Deck Set, and the extra centered mass genuinely improves defense, stamina, and stability.

Strengths

+ Real performance gain: about 3 extra grams of dead-center weight improves inward weight distribution
+ Boosts defense most, with stamina and stability benefits too
+ Roughly 1 gram lighter than Valkyrie but vastly easier to obtain
+ A highly rated competitive upgrade for almost any CX build

Weaknesses

− Slightly taller than a standard chip, nudging the center of gravity up
− Tournament rules limit decks to one metal lockchip, so it cannot go on every bey
− Only available through the EmperorMight Deck Set and select packs

Emperor is the lockchip that actually matters: in tournament practice it tops the meta CX attack builds, most often Emperor Blast Heavy 9-60K, where the centered mass steadies Blast without slowing it down. Since rules cap you at one metal chip, choose its home deliberately. If you own an EmperorMight set, this chip and the Heavy assist blade are its biggest competitive prizes.
