Hover Wyvern

Hover Wyvern is labeled a defense blade, but its curved saddle shape, the one the community calls a Pringle, makes it an aggressive counter-attacker. Two thick upward-facing blades throw opponents out of the ring while the sloped underside deflects incoming hits, which is why it holds up so well against other attackers.

Build Hover Wyvern as an attacker, not a wall. 9-60K is its signature build by a wide margin and the one to learn first, because Kick keeps it controlled in the middle and then converts an incoming hit into a sudden dash for a counter knockout. 9-60R is the other proven option and was on the winning deck at the World Championship. If you want to sit lower and snipe ratchets, 1-60K, 9-60LR and 1-60LR all work. Its best matchups are stamina blades you can destabilize and other attackers who struggle to knock it out, so treat it as your counter-attack slot rather than your heaviest hitter. In a 3v3 deck it covers attack and anti-attack at once.
