1-60 has one large protrusion and sits at the low 60 height. That single big point of contact gives it one strong attack hit, and the low height makes it hard to burst and good for aggressive combos.

1-60 started as an attack ratchet and still excels there: line the protrusion up with the blade's contact points and pair it with bits like Rush or Low Rush for smash power. But it has since become the default low ratchet for almost everything, most famously the dominant stamina build Wizard Rod 1-60H. Reach for it in any combo that wants the low, hard-to-burst 60 height.
