Orochi Cluster Overview
Orochi Cluster is a UX-line attack blade in Beyblade X, released as the CoroCoro mail-order Orochi Cluster 6-60LF and later in a Hasbro dual pack. Eight serpent heads ring its heavy 36.6-gram body, trading one giant hit for a rapid barrage of smashes meant to batter and destabilize opponents.
Strengths
- + Eight contact points deliver relentless barrage attacks
- + Heavy for an attack blade, so it wins many clashes on mass
- + Can destabilize opponents even when it does not KO them
- + Stock 6-60LF setup is already an aggressive, usable build
Weaknesses
- − Barrage hits are individually weaker than single-point smashers
- − Takara Tomy copies came from a mail-order release, so those run expensive
- − Still new, with limited tournament results to judge it by
Run Orochi Cluster on Kick, like 7-60K, or low and fast on an aggressive bit, and launch hard so the eight heads land as many hits as possible per pass. It excels at chewing up stamina and balance combos that rely on staying steady, while single-hit monsters can out-trade it in attack mirrors. Its weight also lets it hold its line better than lighter attackers. In an X deck it is a barrage attacker that punishes anything trying to sit still.
