Steel Samurai Overview
Steel Samurai is a pentagonal balance blade with a katana and two small protrusions on each side, giving it bumpier, more aggressive contact than Leon Claw. It has real smash for its class, but at roughly 31 grams it is simply too light to compete with the meta's heavyweights.
Strengths
- + Katana-edge contact points give genuine smash attack
- + More aggressive and consistent than similar balance blades
- + Five-sided shape is stable and easy to launch
Weaknesses
- − Too light to trade with blades like Phoenix Wing
- − Not recommended in competitive formats for that reason
- − Middling stamina leaves it without a fallback plan
Run Steel Samurai as a light attacker or aggressive balance piece on low setups like 4-60 or 5-60 with a flat, Taper, or its stock T bit, and launch hard so its katana edges connect. It can bully other lightweight and casual builds, but respect that meta-weight opponents will out-muscle it in every clash. In a 3v3 deck it is a budget aggressive slot, best for newer players' lineups.
