Gear Point Overview
Gear Point is a balance bit that fuses Gear Flat and Point: a small ball in the center of a cone of extended gears. Launch it flat and it sits in the center saving spin; tilt the launch and it tears off almost as aggressively as Gear Flat.
Strengths

Gear Point shipped on DranDagger 2-80GP and fits balance or attack blades that want to adapt battle by battle. Flat launch against attackers to hold the center, tilt launch against stamina and defense beys to hunt KOs. That flexibility makes it a nice middle slot in a 3v3 where you cannot predict the matchup.
