4-55 is a light simple-type ratchet with four protrusions at the low 55 height, weighing 4.8 grams. It was the lowest ratchet in the CX line at launch, letting combos duck under opponents, but its tabs are noticeably bigger and easier to catch than other 4-series ratchets.

4-55 debuted with WizardArc as an under-attack ratchet, and its tournament results are led by Clock Mirage stamina builds like 4-55LO, where the low height shields the ratchet and preserves spin. Cobalt Dragoon and other attack blades also use it to slip beneath opponents. Treat it as a proven low-height option for both stamina and attack rather than a single-build specialist.
