Brachio Overview
Brachio is the CX lockchip from the BrachioWhip Random Booster line, guaranteed in Hasbro's Whip Brachio OW 5-70Nr, released mid-2026. Its published weight is not yet widely listed, but it is a standard plastic chip and functions identically to the other regular lockchips.
Strengths
- + Fully compatible with every CX main and assist blade
- + Standard plastic construction with no downsides versus its peers
- + Comes with the newer BrachioWhip release for collectors keeping current
Weaknesses
- − No competitive difference from any other standard lockchip
- − Nothing unique beyond the brachiosaur motif
Use Brachio interchangeably with any standard chip on CX builds. It exists to complete the BrachioWhip motif, and that is the only reason to prefer it. Performance-wise your combo will not notice.
