Assault Overview
Assault is an attack assist blade that debuted under PegasusBlast, with three secondary contact points shaped to thicken and reinforce the main blade's own hitting surfaces. It was designed hand-in-glove with the Blast main blade to boost smash attacks.
Strengths
- + Backs the main blade's contact points, making each hit thicker and harder

Weaknesses
- − Light at 5 grams, adding little defensive mass
- − Only pays off under attack-shaped main blades
- − Aggressive profile adds a bit of recoil
Assault belongs under attack main blades, ideally Blast, but also Brave, Volt, or Fang, where its three points line up behind the main contact points and amplify smash. Pair the combo with a low ratchet and a flat or Turbo-style bit and launch hard for KOs and destabilizations. In a 3v3 deck it is the default assist for your CX attack slot.
