Needle is the original defense bit: a sharp cone that plants the bey in the center of the stadium. It rebounds from hits, resists knockouts well, and with a hard launch its stamina rivals or beats Ball, though sitting still makes it a target.

In a 3v3 it is a reliable defense slot, though High Needle usually earns the spot when pure stamina matters.
